THEON International announced approximately €50 million in new contracts from European and Middle Eastern countries on September 30, 2026. Deliveries are expected to begin during 2026. The electro-optics group, which began operating in Greece in 1997, did not identify the customers.

The principal award notification covers NYX night vision goggles and ORION fused goggles for a European NATO member. THEON described it as the first major ORION award from a western European end user. It links the contract to THEON NEXT, its initiative for a European, fully interconnected future-soldier vision system.

KAPPA orders and further selections

KAPPA, wholly owned by THEON, also received orders for land and maritime applications worth a high single-digit million-euro amount, the company said. The remaining orders cover a mix of man-portable products.

Deputy CEO and Business Development Director Philippe Mennicken said THEON had been selected for other higher-value contracts and options. He expects strong order intake in the final quarter of 2026 and first quarter of 2027, depending on government approvals.

The group is also progressing integration work involving recent investments in stabilized sensor gimbals and air defence systems. Full operational integration remains dependent on the required regulatory approvals.
