Greek Cypriot arrested in the occupied territories

A Greek Cypriot tried to hang the Greek flag on a monument in the occupied territories and as a result, he was arrested by the police of the pseudo-Turkish state.

The man drove to the occupied city of Famagusta, stopped at a roundabout in the center of the city, and tried to hang a Greek flag he had with him at a monument.

Turkish Cypriots who were at the scene called the police, which immediately arrived and arrested the Greek Cypriot man as he was getting into his car to leave.

Turkish Cypriot media report that the arrested Greek Cypriot was taken to the Famagusta police station and will be brought to trial on charges of “inappropriate behavior” and “indecent action”.
