At the center of the armament programs of the Hellenic Artillery are the RM-70 rocket systems that Greece maintains and in recent months has been looking for all possible solutions to upgrade them.
The news this time also includes a Greek company that is interested in participating in the upgrade of the multiple launchers.
Specifically, according to a recent announcement by the Greek Ministry of National Defense:
“On Friday, July 22, 2022, a presentation was made to the Hellenic Army General Staff via video conference by representatives of the company PRISMA ELEKTRONIKA, regarding the upgrade of the RM-70 Multiple Rocket Launcher”
The Multiple Rocket Launcher System (RM-70) is Czechoslovak made.
The Greek Army intends through the modernization of the RM-70 to significantly increase both their range and fire accuracy, through the procurement of new systems that will be integrated into the MRLs as well as modern ammunition that can arm them.
