Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoglu met with the President of the Serbian National Assembly Ivica Dacic within the framework of a series of meetings with officials from Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
Çavuşoglu stated about his meeting with Dacic:
“We met with my friend Ivica Dacic, President of the Serbian National Assembly, whom I recently met in Belgrade, at the Veterans Assembly. Dacic’s many years of experience in both politics and diplomacy will make a significant contribution to the rapid development of our inter-parliamentary relations.”
We remind that Ivica Dancic has also served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and that in recent years Turkey and Serbia have greatly strengthened their relations to the point of being described as “excellent” several times.
