UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace described Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as “senseless and self-defeating” and revealed surprising information about a downed Russian Su-34.
He also stated that there was evidence to imply that Russian military gear was being strained to breaking point as a result of the Ukrainian invasion.
According to him, “GPS receivers have been discovered taped to the dashboards of downed Russian Su-34 fighter jet so the pilots could keep track of where they were due to the low quality of their own systems”
“As a result, while Russia has vast numbers of artillery and armor that they want to show off, they are unable to use them in a combined arms maneuvers and must instead resort to massive indiscriminate barrages” Ben Wallace said in his statements.
According to multiple analysts, this is not the first time a Russian Su-34 has been spotted with a civilian GPS receiver, as they were found doing the same thing in Syria.
