On Friday, February 18, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Moscow for an official meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

There will be a discussion after the end of the closed-door meeting of the two Foreign Ministers Of Greece and Russia. This will be followed by joint press statements with Sergey Lavrov at around 14:00 Athens time and followed by a working lunch.
The security of Europe, the situation in Eastern Europe and the affairs in the Eastern Mediterranean will be the main topics of discussion.
In addition, bilateral cooperation between the two countries will be discussed from the perspective of the historically important ties that exist between them, as stated by the announcement of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is reminded that this will be the third trip of Nikos Dendias to the Russian Federation in the last two years.
